Hoover & Strong will accept mixed material, however, separating scrap is recommended. It is in your best financial interest to always have a current and accurate accounting of your materials.
*Markets are set on the day your refining is finished.
*A modest burn charge may occur on large scrap lots.

Hoover Rush Example: When you ship 5 ounces of filings, old rings and bench sweeps for refining, the market is set on the second business day following receipt. Your material will be processed and you will be paid for 95% of the fine gold contained, less the $150.00 rush fee and refining charge, within 2 business days!
Hoover Standard Example: When you ship 5 ounces of filings, old rings and bench sweeps for refining, the market is set on the day of settlement. Your material will be processed and you will be paid for 96% of the fine gold contained, less the $100.00 refining charge, within 10 business days.
